1. Privacy-focused design
FollowerVault analyzes Instagram account-export information without requiring access to your Instagram account. It does not request or store your Instagram password, authenticate with your Instagram account, scrape Instagram, retrieve follower information directly from Instagram, or sell imported Instagram export information.
2. Instagram export files
You choose the Instagram ZIP export that FollowerVault processes. The ZIP may contain Instagram usernames and follower/following relationship information.
The operating system or app may use temporary local cache while reading the file. FollowerVault does not automatically browse or retrieve other files from your device.
3. Information stored locally
To provide app features between sessions, FollowerVault may locally store imported usernames, follower/following snapshots, import dates, comparison results, completion status, unavailable-account markings, watchlists, relationship history, app preferences, Profile Vault information, and free-preview/replacement-credit state.
Under the current design, this information remains in FollowerVault's local application storage and is not transmitted to Omnium Dynamics, LLC or a FollowerVault server.
4. External profile links
When you choose to open an Instagram profile, FollowerVault may pass the selected username to the Instagram application or website. This is initiated by you. Your subsequent interaction is governed by the third party's policies.
5. No sale, advertising, or tracking
Omnium Dynamics, LLC does not sell or rent imported Instagram export information. FollowerVault does not use imported Instagram information for targeted advertising, data-broker sharing, or cross-app/site tracking.
6. Technical services
FollowerVault is designed to minimize information transmitted outside the device. The current design does not rely on advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or analytics/crash-reporting services that receive imported Instagram data.
App marketplaces and operating-system providers may independently process technical, marketplace, security, or billing information under their own policies.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
FollowerVault may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions through Google Play and/or Apple's App Store. Payments are processed by the applicable marketplace. Omnium Dynamics, LLC does not receive your full payment-card number from those marketplaces.
The app may receive purchase and entitlement information from the marketplace so it can determine whether paid features should be available. This may include product/subscription status, billing duration, purchase status, transaction or purchase identifiers, and entitlement information. Under the current design, FollowerVault relies on the marketplace as its subscription-entitlement source and does not operate a FollowerVault backend that stores imported Instagram data.
8. Support communications
If you contact FollowerVault support, we may receive the email address and message content you voluntarily provide. This occurs outside FollowerVault's automatic app processing and is used to respond, maintain support records, protect against abuse, or satisfy legal obligations. Support communications are not sold or used for targeted advertising.
9. Retention and deletion
Imported Instagram information and FollowerVault analysis history remain locally for as long as needed for the features you use or until you delete them. You can use the app's local-data controls, device storage controls, or uninstall the app to remove local information. Omnium Dynamics does not maintain a server-side database of your imported follower/following history under the current design.
10. Security
FollowerVault reduces privacy risk by processing imported Instagram information locally rather than sending the ZIP to a central analysis server. No software or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, but reasonable safeguards and data-minimizing design are used.
11. Children's privacy
FollowerVault is a general account-management utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current local-processing design or use imported Instagram information for behavioral advertising.
12. Instagram and Meta disclaimer
FollowerVault is an independent application offered by Omnium Dynamics, LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated as features, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. If FollowerVault begins collecting, transmitting, retaining, or sharing information in a materially different way, this policy and applicable app-store disclosures will be updated as required.
